I am descended from David Burnite of New J...Madame,
I am descended from David Burnite of New Jersey, ~1755-1830. He moved to Cecil Co, Maryland around 1795 or so with his son Samuel. David then married and had several more children. I assume that his first wife died in Jersey.

As for DNA, I had two great-uncles take DNA tests. One test has finished testing and there are approximately a half dozen matches that have Jeremiah Burnight as an ancestor. I kind of feel that Jeremiah was either a son or nephew to our own David Burnite. Even if that were the case, though, we'd still have no further information on the origins of the Burnite(Burnight) families.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04725342943872852909noreply@blogger.com
