School Days: March Madness

Opal May Slater (1890-1973) was the only daughter and third child of L.L. and Fina (Tomlinson) Slater.  Based on the clues in the picture and what I know of the Severy, Kansas area, I am guessing that Opal was 18 and a member of the Eureka High School girls basketball team.  Gym clothes have come a long way, baby.
