Black's Law Dictionary

If you are like me and don't know precisely what half of those terms are in all those legal and court documents we use in American genealogy (probate? bequest? codicil? say what?), then Black's Law Dictionary is the go-to source:


My understanding is that it is best to use the edition closest to the time you are researching.
