Family Friday: Warren/Porter
This photo shows my biological father, Tracy Stuart Warren, as a 19-year-old U.S. Navy recruit in 1942 and his maternal uncle Herbert W. "Dutch" Porter (1899-1975?), a Navy veteran. Tracy's father James Chappell Warren Jr. (1897-1923) had also served in the Navy so he was following a family tradition.

After all this time I still can't find the details of Dutch's military service :-(
