Dad Currey (far right in the top photo) and his co-workers from California Electric Works traveled out to La Mesa to plant street trees along Palm Avenue.* I'm not surprised that he's the one with the biggest hat!

*If I'm remembering correctly, he identified some eucalyptus trees at Collier Park as being ones they planted.
