The War of 1812 Pension Digitization Project has been going on for a while now. I can't wait until it's finally done!
I have already donated some money towards the project in honor of two of my known War of 1812 soldiers, Jesse Sill and Thomas Lynchard. The time period between the late 1700's through the 1830's represents a sizable gap in my understanding of my ancestors, and I think once this project is done it will help shed considerably more light on some people in that era.
