Even though Christine was sent home from the hospital today, she's still not quite up to posting yet so it's up to me to fill in.
So here's the last photos of my St. Rita's class of 1961 in cap and gown, looking serious.

I graduated from St Rita's in 1958 --- Bob Bortfeld. I only spent one year there. My brother -- Ernie Bortfeld --- and cousins --- Mary Lou and Lennie Nieters were there from the start. If you have other photos from 1958 I would love to see them. Also, my mother --- Adele Bortfeld --- was the librarian once the new library was built upstairs (along with my auntie Alice Nieters). I helped out with some chores for the nuns over the next few years --- wash their car, some yard work, etc. Sister Catherine was a favorite.
