Sunday Drive: Touring Canadian Teachers, 1953

Taken in South Dakota during our visit there during the summer of 1953, all I know about these rather grim-looking modified tractor trailers is what Dad wrote on the cardboard slide holder: "Canadian teachers touring U.S. Cost $250." Presumably the women grouped under the tree on the left are some of the teachers.
