School Days: George Hartley Jr Graduates from the University of Chicago

My grandfather George Hartley, Jr. (1907-1977) graduated from the University of Chicago in 1938 with both an M.D. and Ph.D in Pathology.  He and Margaret had married the previous year.

    Dear me, he died at 70, I've already beat him. As the English might say, "makes you think,it does" --- is it my imagination or is there a resemblance between him and George at that age?
